West Virginia Chef Goes to France to Win USA Their Medal
I wanted to extend a very special "Good Luck" to one of the top Chefs out there. That would be West Virginia's own Chef Richard Rosendale a Certified Master Chef (CMC). Rosendale, who competed in over 40 culinary competitions, is the USA team captain for the upcoming International cooking competition on January 29th, 2013 at the Bocuse D’Or in Lyon, France. This is very exciting because he could win the USA its first medal in this event! Rosendale will be competing against competitors from 24 countries.
Rosendale works at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Now a National Historic landmark, the resort is known for being an outstanding resort and hosts distinguished guests from around the world since the 1700's.

I've been tweeting good wishes to @RosendaleCMC and you can too! You can "LIKE" Chef Richard Rosendale's Facebook page which will also show the photos and stories from the event.
I look forward to all you good folks sending him well wishes and comments and encouragement. Cooking for the USA is a great privilege (and let's hope he throws some gourmet BBQ style twists in there, right?)
